תכשיטים מכסף 925 - סטרלינג סילבר היא סגסוגת. 92.5% ממשקלה הוא כסף טהור, ו7.5% מתכות אחרות (לרוב נחושת).
תכשיטי כסף 925 נוטים להשחיר באופן טבעי עם הזמן, כתוצאה מהתחמצנות במגע עם האוויר. חשיפה למלחים/קרמים/ שמנים, אחוזי לחות גבוהים וחומציות העור עלולים להאיץ את השחרת התכשיט.
ניתן לנקות את תכשיטי הכסף בכמה אופנים:
* בעזרת מטלית ייעודית לניקוי תכשיטי כסף
* עוטפים קערה מזכוכית בנייר כסף כשהצד המבריק כלפי מעלה, (חשוב להדק את הנייר לתחתית הקערה באופן יסודי). מניחים את העגילים על נייר הכסף מבלי שהם נוגעים אחד בשני ושופכים מים רותחים יחד עם כפית סודה לשתייה עד לכיסוי העגילים.
לאחר כ-2 דקות מוציאים את התכשיטים ומייבשים בעדינות.
* בסטודיו באמצעות שיוף.
תכשיטי כסף מושחר:
תכשיטי הכסף המושחרים שלנו מושחרים באמצעות אוקסיד. ההשחרה אינה פרמננטית ועשויה לדעוך עם הזמן. היתרון של השחרה טבעית באוקסיד היא שתמיד ניתן בהליך פשוט להשחיר מחדש. בסטודיו אנחנו נותנות שירות השחרה ללא עלות.
תכשיטי פליז:
פליז הוא סגסוגת של נחושת ורודה ואבץ אפור, יש לה צבע צהוב מט טבעי. כמו תכשיטי הכסף גם תכשיטי הפליז נוטים להתכהות בשל התחמצנות. היתרון של פליז שניתן בקלות לשייף את פני השטח ולהחזיר לתכשיט את הצבע "הזהבי" שלו. ניתן לעשות זאת באמצעות נייר שיוף עדין שניתן לקבל בסטודיו או בליטוש עדין בסטודיו עצמו.
תכשיטי פולימר:
תכשיטי הפולימר שלנו עשויים חימר פולימרי. כל חרוז/פנדנט עובר תהליך פיסול בעבודת יד, שריפה ולאחריו גריעה באמצעות סכין חיתוך באופן ידני.
החימר הפולמרי עובד במגע עם מים - הזוויות מתקהות ומשתנות. בנוסף תכשיטים בהירים עשויים לספוג צבע מבדים לא איכותיים המסירים צבע. (לרוב ניתן לנקות בעזרת מטלית לחה).
יש לשמור על התכשיטים גם מנפילה או ממכות חזקות כיוון שהם עשויים להשבר.
תכשיטי חרוזים:
טבעות חרוזים - טבעות החרוזים סרוגות על חוט מיוחד וחזק. הטבעות נוטות להתרחב ולזוז מאצבע לאצבע. בנוסף בעת שיפשוף צבע החרוזים עשוי להשתנות.
צמידי החרוזים - סרוגים על חוט סיליקון. חוט זה הוא אלסטי. לאורך זמן הוא מתבלה ונשחק וצריך לקחת את זה בחשבון.
את הטבעות והצמידים אין להכניס למים בכלל! יש להמנע מלהשאיר במקום חם ולח. חשוב לזכור כי מדובר ביצירת אומנות עדינה על היד שלך ויש לנהוג כלפיהן באופן עדין.
איך שומרים על תכשיטים:
* מומלץ לשים את התכשיטים שלא משתמשים בהם באופן יומיומי בתוך שקית ניילון אטומה ולהניח אותם בתוך קופסת תכשיטים.
* מומלץ להסיר תכשיטים לפני השינה
* מומלץ לא להתקלח או להכנס לים/בריכה עם התכשיטים. מלח וכלור עשויים לגרום לנזק לתכשיטים.
* יש לשים לב שלא להשפריץ על התכשיטים בושם ולהמנע ממגע עם קרמים/שמני גוף.

925 silver jewelry:
sterling silver is an alloy. 92.5% of its weight is pure silver, and 7.5% other metals (mostly copper). 925 silver jewelry tends to naturally blacken over time, as a result of oxidation in contact with the air.
Exposure to salts/creams/oils, high humidity and the acidity of the skin may accelerate the blackening of the jewelry.
Silver jewelry can be cleaned in several ways:
* Using a dedicated cloth for cleaning silver jewelry
* Wrap a glass bowl in foil with the shiny side up, (it is important to fasten the paper to the bottom of the bowl thoroughly). Place the earrings on the foil without touching each other and pour boiling water with a teaspoon of baking soda until the earrings are covered. After about 2 minutes, take out the jewelry and gently dry it.
* In the studio using sanding.
Blackened Silver Jewelry:
Our blackened silver jewelry is blackened using oxide. The blackening is not permanent and may fade over time. The advantage of natural blackening with oxide is that it can always be re-blackened in a simple procedure.
In the studio we provide a oxide tanning service free of charge.
Brass jewelry:
Brass is an alloy of pink copper and gray zinc, it has a natural matte yellow color. Like silver jewelry, brass jewelry also tends to darken due to oxidation.
The advantage of brass is that the surface can be easily sanded and the jewelry can be restored to its "golden" color.
This can be done using fine sandpaper that can be obtained in the studio or by fine polishing in the studio itself.
Polymer jewelry:
Our polymer jewelry is made of polymer clay. Each bead/pendant goes through a process of sculpting, burning and then cutting with a cutting knife by hand.
The polymer clay change in contact with water - the angles soften and change. In addition, bright jewelry may absorb color from poor-quality fabrics that remove color (Usually it can be cleaned with a damp cloth). The jewelry must also be protected from falling because they may break.
Beaded jewelry:
Beaded rings - the beaded rings are knitted on a special and strong thread. The rings tend to expand and move from finger to finger. In addition, in contact with surfaces, the color of the beads may change.
The bead bracelets - knitted on silicone thread. This thread is elastic. Over time it wears out and you have to take that into account.
Do not wet the bracelets and rings with water at all!
Avoid leaving in a hot and humid place.
It is important to remember that this is a delicate work of art on your hand and should be treated gently.
How to Keep Your Jewelry from Tarnishing:
* It is recommended to put the jewelry that is not used on a daily basis in a sealed plastic bag and place it in a jewelry box.
* It is recommended to remove jewelry before going to bed.
* It is recommended not to shower or enter the sea/pool with the jewelry. Salt and chlorine may cause permanent damage to jewelry.
* Be careful not to spray perfume on the jewelry and avoid contact with creams/body oils.
